Various measurements are performed while the patient sleeps in a familiar environment. With the help of the MINISCREEN, it can be decided whether investigation in the sleep laboratory is necessary. In the sleep laboratory, the diagnosis of sleep-related breathing disorders is confirmed (or rejected), and a therapy with nocturnal ventilation is started and monitored.
